Week 3

The first time I was in San Francisco I made eye contact with a homeless man just as he was about to freebase.  He was sitting right in the middle of the street, not even attempting to hide.

I had a dream this past week where that mans gaze was burning in my mind, almost saying 'don't mess up like i did'.  Needless to say it was a strange dream.

For Week One

This is me shooting myself with my 35mm film camera.

Week 2

For this photo I set up a black sheet for my background and placed a drawing table lamp to my left.  I lit some incense to give the picture the smoky effect, with a 1.5 second shutter speed to allow more of the smoke to fill the frame. I can associate this photograph with rearranging your thoughts and following new dreams; all while discovering and learning new things about who you once thought you were, while slowly witnessing the transformation to being a better person.  The past two years for me have been completely weird, cosmic, strange, and wonderful; and I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds as I continue to grow and learn from myself and everyone around me.  So for me this photograph sums up all those thoughts/emotions. You can figure it out!
